Yes, I'm an old white male and considered privileged. But since the United States is hell bent on paying descendants of dead people millions of dollars to right past injustices, I figured I have nothing to lose by making a claim.

With the awesome power of the internet, I figure I can come up with a pretty good list of injustices I can make a case with. If it works, I will personally up vote every post and comment you make.

SECTION 8. Clause 1. The Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.

Seems pretty clear to me that, actually, we need something clarifying that welfare doesn’t mean charity or welfare programs. I remain unconvinced that the tenth amendment prevents it due to the aforementioned clause. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Where does it say they can tax some people and give that money to others. It specifically says such taxes must be uniform across the United States. It's not uniform if some people are paying and some are receiving.

It says uniform amongst the states, not uniform amongst the people. Believe me whenI say, I wish your interpretation were the way is was written.

Except it doesn't say that. It says:

but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
