Yes, I'm an old white male and considered privileged. But since the United States is hell bent on paying descendants of dead people millions of dollars to right past injustices, I figured I have nothing to lose by making a claim.

You don't need to redefine anything. Whites, inclusive of everyone from the Nords to the Slavs to the Greeks, and all the Anglos everywhere, are about 8% to 13% of the world's population. We are a minority made of highly diverse minorities.
