As someone who usually prefers to just lurk the system kinda does suck. That timer after commenting needs lowering too ffs, also it should only apply per thread/post. If I comment here I should not have to wait so long to comment on a separate post. Maybe lower it to 15 seconds or something too.

I think for post search you have to reach level 6, but I could be wrong. Comment search is significantly higher, I think level 30 or so.

Didn't see search mentioned here, but if you haven't unlocked it at level 2 it's most likely unlocked at level 6.

Easiest way to advance is to post quality content, don't let the local homos groom you with their poetry and writing.
