I went in for a physical last week. Doc says I have hypothyroidism. I think he wants to start me on pills, which I hate. I feel fine. Just curious what other people have done and their experiences

Yep, this is common. Most hypothyroid is due to autoimmune issues. Get off bread and wheat products. It sucks, but you gotta do it. Gluten is bad and your body mistakes Gliadin protein as a foreign threat and attacks your thyroid. It also destroys your intestine lining which causes autoimmune issues.

Also, look into taking iodine supplement (sea kelp) + selenium.
