Getting rather desperate- good friend is troubled and has disappeared. Drinking and it's winter, driving. Lots to worry about. I've been trying for hours to find a way to find them via phone location and it's all bogus- nothing works. I guess it's actually illegal to ping someone's phone via imei number; tried facebook and everything...any ideas from you tech folks would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I am important enough but no I don't want to break the law. I did run across a way to do it but it involved a lot more than I could deal with at the time and time was of the essence.

No you are not. I know this for two reasons 1) "I don't want to break the law."

If you were important, the law wouldn't touch you. 2) time

If you were important enough these things don't take time.

I get what you're saying. Just don't want to see a loved one raped or dead.
