There is some evidence that pain is reduced after getting many needles sunk into your flesh, but there is no way to know if the reduction is due to the needles or the placebo effect. As for all the wild, specific cures claimed for acupuncture, they are completely bogus. I wouldn't let a chiropractor anywere near my body. Those crazy fuckers can break your neck! What happens then?
