It’s impossible to be “creative” without being an “independent thinker.” It’s contradictory to suggest otherwise. If not an “independent thinker,” all one can do is mimic, ape, regurgitate, remix and badly imitate. For proof, just look at the last century of art and entertainment.

I don’t. I actually dropped out of Art school when I realized I would be surrounded by idiots my entire life. I was a damn good illustrator too. But holy fuck what you love is not always a good career.

I think I get what you're asking. People who are artsy and imaginative and cool for the most part but retarded as fuck and gullible when it comes to everything else? I avoided politics with them, and gave them very small red pills here and there, but we are also no longer friends since Covid/Vax times when I stopped getting invited to events because I wasn't vaxxed, and I just stopped talking to them altogether.

Don't befriend anyone that did this to people, patterns of behavior repeat themselves.
