I just got an email from ppl sales thanking me for my $484 order for something called a Lenovo Think Pad T14s Gen 1. They gave a toll free number to call. I don't know what the device is and I definitely didn't order one. What kind of scam are they trying to pull? I just think it is a trick to get me to call the number for some reason. Anyone else get this?

lol don't call unless you can hide your caller ID and want to waste their time.

Some random pajeets are gonna ask you to buy Amazion/Worst Buy/Whalemart gift cards to pay for the shipping.

Check out Hoax Hotel channel on jootube.

Yeah, I figured as much. Thanks for your reply. I never considered calling for even a second. I was just curious about others getting the same scam emails...

These fucking streetshitters and niggers never call on weekends because they know elders aren't alone. They call on week days, before noon and scam the shit out of their savings/pensions.

Look if you want to avoid scams you’re gonna need to send me about 500 dollars. I’ll help you avoid every scam. I just need 500 dollars. It’s only 500.

Thinkpad is a series of laptops popularized by IBM by giving deep discounts to businesses to buy them as standard.

They werent actually bad laptops.

Then IBM sold the personal computer division to Lenovo, a Chinese company. Who still makes and sells all the products with the historical names and such to fool American consumers.

As long as it still has the little rubber mouse button I wouldn't mind having one. Those were good laptops.

My thinkpad is a couple of years old and still has the nub. I'll sell it to you if you buy a couple gift cards and call my toll-free number at...

I've still got a W530 sitting around from '13 that functions.

Think pad is a line of laptops, I think.

I have a Lenovo T420 that I acquired back in 2010. Some things broke on it and I fixed them. I have Linux installed as the OS and it works really well. I would say 90% of the emails you get and phone calls are scams trying to part you from your hard-earned money.
