I recently paid someone an advance on work to be performed because they were hard up and they didn’t even show up when they said they would. No call, nothing. I want to skin him alive. Mostly I’m angry at myself.

Well.. that person is a complete piece of shit. You never take a pay advance to not show up. Disgusting.
