I need things done properly and won't accept anything done improperly. Depending on the context of judgement I'm usually passive but that can change if I'm being fooled around with.

Stand your ground, speak your mind, share your opinion.

If it's an honest mistake, I understand. Things don't always go as we plan them.

If it's a fuckup that happened due to laziness and lack of care, they are dead to me.

When it comes to the food I don't complain unless it's an easy fix. I know people that used to work in the kitchen who witnessed degenerates spit in the food of customers who complained.

They mess up my order, I don't come back. Simple.

How petty can you be to spit in someones food just because they complained? Who cares.

Subhuman scum who can't handle criticism.

[–] 1 pt

This is why I look at my plate and if I don't like it I just give it back. Being picky is not a negative trait. It shows intellect.

Have you seen the movie "waiting"

In that specific scene, the bitch absolutely deserves it. In real life, an angry cranky minimum wage worker having a bad day might over react to a trivial criticism, and imagine themselves in the same scenario.

[–] 2 pts

Same. I'll send the food back, but by the time it arrives back to the table, I'm gone.

[–] 2 pts

Yep. I'm always polite and refuse food and don't order again and never return. Usually get a free drink but I don't care.

More than opinion if it's a service bought and paid for, and thus due diligence in selecting the service and provider are important.

In the age of growing ineptitude, it is getting increasingly difficult to find quality work and workers that even give a shit to go beyond the bare fucking minimum. Some could be blamed on employers, yes; moreover, it's the culture/ work ethic (or the lack thereof) that currently presents in the work force.

If you Pay for a serive and the quality of work is next level, make sure to spread the word and promote the provider. If the work is shit, demand it is redone until correct or fucking sue. Providers will keep serving shit until they're held accountable.

in my neck of the woods, we have two kinds of service. 1)perfect and people know you and your needs, and execute their job with joyful precision. 2) worthless service that makes you angry that you wasted such time and money.

noone wants to go a good job any more. no one cares. thus, its a sympton of a larger problem.

I've been known for wasting serious amounts of time being fastidious. At least that's what they think.

[–] 2 pts

Who cares if others think against yourself..

[–] 2 pts

Yes, its bad. I dont like people to help me because im picky about the way things are done. For example , if someone is helping me paint or stain and they dont keep a wet edge or cut-in the corners prior to rolling, then I have to go back an redo it. I can see the lines when it dries. Im ok with telling them but if they' re giving up their time for me then i just feel like a jerk constantly correcting them. Its picky stuff like that that i cant seem to get past.

[–] 2 pts

Wow, I'm not even good at painting, and while I doubt my speed would impress, literally the first lesson was "only work with what you can cut and roll before it dries"

And how to keep my tools quickly and easily cleaned or stored immediately after.

You aren't being picky at all in that respects. It's literally the lesson before painting 101. Now if only people would stop trying to use those cheap Walmart roller that make the wall into a shag carpet

[–] 1 pt

Haha yeah I always notice walls with all the roller fibers embedded.

[–] 1 pt

Me too. I'm very specific with detail.

[–] 2 pts

I can be.

I brought this up because I politely decline things all the time, even if I pay for them first. I need things done properly and with expertise. If not, I won't be dealing with it.

[–] 3 pts

For me it'll depend on the context. I guy my car detailed and got them to redo some of it, because it wasn't done properly.

I do this with food all of the time.

I also won't eat in any "woke" places or be near trannies and faggots.

[–] 1 pt

I used to until my business blew up. I havnt done the best job scaling and I refuse to work 60 hours a week anymore, so I get about 15% of the people I deal with upset over little things I just clean up after the fact.

[–] 0 pt

Hard worker. I hope that it's worth it. 60 hours a week is hardcore.

[–] 1 pt

"Perfect is the enemy of the good"

Is the motto i try to use to overcome my OCD need for doing it properly. But I can't help feeling and living by "Good is not good if better is possible"

[–] 1 pt

I'm very specific and know what I like, if it isn't, I politely refuse.

I recently paid someone an advance on work to be performed because they were hard up and they didn’t even show up when they said they would. No call, nothing. I want to skin him alive. Mostly I’m angry at myself.

[–] 0 pt

Well.. that person is a complete piece of shit. You never take a pay advance to not show up. Disgusting.

[–] 0 pt

I guess. Everyone else is incompetent and retarded. That’s not my fault though. If god had a higher standard for existence then I wouldn’t need to be so fastidious. Did you just find out the word fastidious. I found out a word yesterday at the airport. Onus

[–] 0 pt (edited )

I don't go to airports. I wasn't familiar with their dichotomy of linguistic signage. Onus.. just say responsibility next time. I am a lit prof. Onus is trying too hard with Latin.

[–] 1 pt

I was playing that game where you take the letters and make a word

Do you mind if I ask where you teach at? I don’t really expect you to answer. I just wanna ask you questions. How long have you been teaching. Is it college? What’s the best paper you ever read?
