I had the same thoughts as you. The only differences between a kid and an adult in my experience are 1) more experience that you end up using on a daily basis. What this means is that you are more likely to do something different or not, because you realize more consequences 2) You are less likely to think you're immortal 3) You have responsibilities. If you don't work or whatever, you don't eat, or you lose your car or house or whatever But, yeah, as a kid i thought that "becoming an adult" was a thing, but it's not... It's only a thing in tribes where they have some ceremony.
