I mean I have been married and have a kid, ( he is like 30 now) been in three long term relationships (each seven years, weird huh) I have read shit that says using drugs young does this. But god damn in my mind Im still like 20.

I had the same thoughts as you. The only differences between a kid and an adult in my experience are

1) more experience that you end up using on a daily basis.
What this means is that you are more likely to do something different or not, because you realize more consequences 2) You are less likely to think you're immortal 3) You have responsibilities. If you don't work or whatever, you don't eat, or you lose your car or house or whatever

But, yeah, as a kid i thought that "becoming an adult" was a thing, but it's not... It's only a thing in tribes where they have some ceremony.
