For those of you who would like an update…
My wife is crying because he just left after saying that he’ll tell his kids about the time we saved him from losing his family and his life.
I sent him the resources you guys suggested.
I connected him with a good job with a pretty damn good wage. He’s killing it. He built a flight of stairs so he’s basically proven himself.
Found him an apartment with a really fucking weird landlord who claims she was attacked by a badger or something.
Loaned him a vehicle so he could get his own truck back on the road. Brought my truck back today.
He’s going to church.
He even got a snappy haircut.
It has not been my experience in life that anyone can be helped. This fucking guy really might be an exception. Good for him. Good for us.
