Padron anniversario are great classic smokes. Albeit expensive. Rocky Patel have some pleasant flavored sticks. I.e. Java latte. Which are easier if you're not accustomed to full flavor tobacco. It takes a little easing into. CAO also have some decent flavored options (economical) but those shouldn't be your end game if you're deciding what your favorites are. They're more trainer cigars. Imho

I don't much care for R & J (economical) or even Monte Cristo white labels(expensive). They are more bitter than I care for.

Your stick size should also be considered. If you're not used to smoking cigars, then avoid churchill style. Go with the smaller sizes. Otherwise you'll find yourself getting overwhelmed by all the smoke before your tolerance levels are capable. And then you're wasting an inch or two that you can't finish.

Make sure you keep extra water pillows handy.
