Rocky Patels are a good domestic smoke.

I still have 6 leftover from an 8 pack sampler I received last Christmas. I can't bring myself to finish them as they make me sneeze every time I hold the smoke in my mouth. Looked it up many times and still can't figure out why that happens.

The taste of the blue edge was decent though.

White Owls for sure.

I love those

My dad "smoked" them. Actually what he did was keep one in his mouth with the end under his tongue; he didn't really smoke them. It caused oral cancer and he had half his face removed.

drew estate has some tasty sticks, i really enjoy the liga line, also some la gloria and knights templar are solid

I was very surprised with the quality of Drew Estate's lineup and have been smoking those for years. I was conditioned to believe that good cigars cost more but Drews are some of the best I've had. The prices did increase about 35% 6 months ago where I'm at though.

Explain cigars to me like I have no education about them. Obviously it's smoking but what are the nuances compared to smoking a cigarette?

I'm probably not the best to explain it as I'm new to it myself. One thing though is that the whole thing is just tobacco, no bullshit added and even the wrapping is also tobacco, so I'd say at least from what I understand as a newbie that it's more about the flavor than cigs are.

Check out La Gloria Cubana in Miami. You can get them through Cigars International. Anti-Communist American Made.

Think I have a Romeo y Julieta left. They's good.

Actually, think it's a CAO. not home. Also good, recommend the Columbia.

Why didn't she get you a cigar with it?

Romeo Y Julietta 1875 are my favorite good cigar.

Padron anniversario are great classic smokes. Albeit expensive. Rocky Patel have some pleasant flavored sticks. I.e. Java latte. Which are easier if you're not accustomed to full flavor tobacco. It takes a little easing into. CAO also have some decent flavored options (economical) but those shouldn't be your end game if you're deciding what your favorites are. They're more trainer cigars. Imho

I don't much care for R & J (economical) or even Monte Cristo white labels(expensive). They are more bitter than I care for.

Your stick size should also be considered. If you're not used to smoking cigars, then avoid churchill style. Go with the smaller sizes. Otherwise you'll find yourself getting overwhelmed by all the smoke before your tolerance levels are capable. And then you're wasting an inch or two that you can't finish.

Make sure you keep extra water pillows handy.

If you don’t know what kind of cigars to buy, what made your wife decide to buy you a humidor?

I have some that I like but I wanted to get more suggestions for ones I haven't tried yet.

Got to try some cohibas. They make some good cancer sticks.
