Why did you choose Poal over Phuks? I can see many new introductions in our introductions sub, but nothing new over there. Was there some factor that made the difference?

Phuks doesn't like naughty words like Nigger and Kike. if I wanted to be sheltered, I'd go to Reddit.

This. Phuks has a more PC rep. Was started to escape Voat's 'hate' from what I know. Just seems like a more marmish Reddit without the traffic. Not sure what the point is.

I like that Poal has struck a nice balance where it's not 24/7 'niggerkikefaggot' like voat, but I can simultaneously say nigger if I want to.

Yeah, seems much saner too. Though that isn't saying a lot to be honest. Voat is a looney bin. Or full of people under the influence or something. But now that seems to possibly be spreading into the administration of the site itself.

I'm not really choosing anything, as of yet. I just wanted to register my username now in case some asshole swiped it. Already had a phuks account, place was nice, but a little too clean for my taste.

I had never heard of it until now. I remember hearing about poal some time ago but never phuks.

I guess people talk about Phuks less. I have noticed that there is a Gab post that has 2 variants. One where the suggested alternative to Reddit is Voat and one where it's Poal. I've never seen a Phuks variant. I guess it isn't as popular.

Phuks.co is another place that was created by former voaters.

It runs on Throat, which Poal is also based on (different fork and features).

Trying to provide an easily understood reference. My experience with Phuks a year ago was a lot of hate against anyone trying to speak a lot of truths that certain groups, like Antifa, have a zero tolerance for. They will banhammer you the way Antifa will bikelock you.

I've never heard of Phuks before. Poal.co was spread on an image for tech alternatives to mainstream tech services that censor.

It's a website similar in look to Poal, but with more restricted speech. I don't think it has as activity as here.

Im not sure what qualifies it as a viable competitor to Voat or Poal. At least on Voat if you don't ever respond to or mention certain people you're fine to talk about whatever.

I know slurs are unacceptable over there from what others have told me. From my own rather limited experience, people aren't too interested in political content either.
