Nobody is truly gonna be able to answer this unless they work for a said company. I do know there are paid services that give a hell of alot more info than say google does. I personally believe state id, utilities and credit agencys share information. Legal or not.

it just seems like the data is usually horribly inaccurate, from what i can tell they mix and match similar names until they profile has more data, so you may or may not get accurate data. I dont think they add state id stuff, i think its more voter rolls, and public data like ownership history

I think its all that, for instance I can find my current address if I even just use a search engine. Nothing is in my name here except my DL. Well and package shipments, which just goes to show how all info is shared. Voter roles is state.

I know USPS has the informed delivery system which could easily be breached by anyone

None of them have directed me to my psuedononymous Twitter or Reddit IDs and through the FCRA can't be relied upon to reject housing or employment applications so take that with a grain of salt.

I ran a trial version background check on myself once. It creeped me out. It said the obvious, siblings parents etc. the part that creeped me out was it named a huge list of cities I had been to. I’m talking some of these places I was a kid when I went there. I wasn’t using a credit card or anything. It named a ton of them. Fuckin weird man

i had something similar, it named an address to a friend's mom i hadn't talked to in years
