That's a scam. You can easily tell as China, the current world's main manufacturer, won't ever participate on those "global warming prevention measures". The main scam consists of government pariahs getting kick backs from big business to "purchase carbon credits", while on the other hand, confining most of the population in mega cities, leaving the rest of the world to them. In short it's a land grab.
