I told my boss about my brain issues and my symptoms, he's rooting for me. But now I feel ashamed about myself for having this problem in the first place. I know i can do the work, but its like someone put a massive damper on my brain processes. So now im wondering if i should just quit instead and leave it be, maybe focus on something else for a little?

edit: this is a second company i happen to work for, not related to the first company that had issues

Most cases you want them to fire you so there's no problems getting your unemployment (some places also allow "constructive termination" where they make things so bad for you that you quit).
