As others have said. There are "good" areas of CO. However, you are under the thumb of the blue mega cities so it might as well be comiefornia lite.

No to Colorado. It is Eastern California.

Eastern California (the desert areas between the Sierra Nevada mountains and the Nevada stateline): --although it's still governed by the commies, it is sparsely populated and not such a bad place to live. Much the same as the vast rural areas of Nevada.

No. I was more associating that the name should be Eastern California. The towns and cities are becoming woke. Druggies roam the parka for the tokes.

Yeah I get it. --But here in the actual Eastern California, druggies and homeless are actually not a huge problem (yet...)
