Most people are driven by one of two things: truth or feelings. truth is dark, cold, and requires a stoic mindset. Feelings are ephemeral, immediate, feels great. Truth requires dedication, careful analysis, and intellect. Feelings erode behavior to ever competing degeneracies. Truth makes us sad in learning that evil truly does exist. Feelings allow us to watch Avengers and imagine we can all be heros while sitting on the sofa. Truth is still better.
