Make sure you use a VPN, at least. uMatrix browser extension to manage script execution (avoid thrid part scripts automatically running when you go to new sites).
If you wanna go harder, don't use Windows or OS X. Use tab-cookies (destroy cookies when you close all the tabs of a domain). Host blocking in your router. blah blah blah
Why would you do all this in all seriousness? Fear of consequences for what you say online? Bank locking down your account for being homophobic?
I do it to protect my privacy. I don't like how all the silicon valley corps are tracking me all around the internet. Selling every bit of data to firms that want to manipulate me and sell me some bullshit. All you need is cookies to be anabled and they can keep track of which sites (that ehy own/control) you go to and when.
This bothers me. I'm not worried they're going to take me to court. But when the govt decides to go full UK, I want to make sure they can't jail me for saying the wrong thing or going to the wrong website.
