I live in a area that's getting more diversified to the point that my truck got broken into a few weeks ago. what if any car alarm systems are you using besides the factory system? i am looking to get out but it's at least a year or two before that can happen.

If you know how to deal with police and the local court system, it can be useful.

I agree it's not effective for everyone.
