If you have been at this for decades, how are you not a millionaire?
Have been learning from scract, started with only a computer. My biggest hardship have been learning to be a good, confident leader, since I was not one at all when I started, I was very submissive and kind of insecure when younguer.
Learning how to have a profitable business, keep income up but costs down, is another big challenge.
So I'm still going step by step as fast as I can, and things are getting better for sure.
It sounds like you have not multiplied yourself by hiring enough people to take either take care of the duties which don't directly generate money for you (freeing up your time to just make money) or hiring sales/specific employees to generate for you more cash.
That has been an issue for sure, since I'm the technical guy and for long tried to do it all myself.
I now have a not so small team that do most of the hardlifting, but still I struggled for years to keep costs down. Over staffing and low productivity, was an issue for a long time, since I was not a great leader at first. I was about to bankrupt in 3 different times because of this, but managed to recover by firing not-loyal or dishonest staff, and learning to grow step by step, and learning to hire better.
On time (decades) I have become better leader, but I'm still learning.
