That has been an issue for sure, since I'm the technical guy and for long tried to do it all myself.
I now have a not so small team that do most of the hardlifting, but still I struggled for years to keep costs down. Over staffing and low productivity, was an issue for a long time, since I was not a great leader at first. I was about to bankrupt in 3 different times because of this, but managed to recover by firing not-loyal or dishonest staff, and learning to grow step by step, and learning to hire better.
On time (decades) I have become better leader, but I'm still learning.
