Less than $500? Think about that, how far would that get you driving? Halfway from coast to coast? Domestically you can get around for that, but to leave the country, you won't get far. You'll need to be prepared to spend at least 2-4 times that amount to start getting anywhere near the kind of paradise that you are describing.

If you can get to Nepal it’s wonderful for a tourist and beyond dirt cheap. However cold as hell so only good in the summer.

It's interesting you say that because I want to go but I don't want to get vaccines. And I don't mean covid, I mean all the other shit that they're telling you to get because from what I hear the Nepalese people rub their hands in shit and then cook your food. I asked around about this on reddit and was called all sorts of horrible things for it. Couldn't get a straight answer. I also asked 5 years ago when I wanted to go and everyone said if you don't get your vaccines you'll die when you get there so I was like fuck that I'm not going to go but then a person who I lost touch with but every now and then hear stuff about him I'd there right now. till May I guess, you can stay for 5 months or six or money talks. So I guess you've been there?

lol you don’t have to worry about this. In Kathmandu they’ve got a section of the city called thamel. That’s where you stay. It’s a small section built just for tourists. 3 course 4 star meals for like $12-15.

However yes I did get very sick when I first arrived. Through quick process of elimination / on / off testing I found the curtains in the room were giving me severe strep throat. I just asked for a new room and was fine.

In Nepal you don’t really need prescriptions. You just go to the pharmacy and they give you what ever tf.

You can stay in a nice hotel for like $300 / month. Almost everyone who visits there stays the entire summer.

I recommend renting a dirt bike and driving the city and Himalayas yourself. Beyond the most amazing experience of your life. Dirt bike rentals are like $12 / day lol.

What are you talking about? I can get a flight to Mexico under 300 round trip all day long. Look up momondo.com. Searches all flights. You can definitely fly to Europe for under 500 too.

I almost went on a Ireland Scotland tour with my parents back in 21. My mom ended up fucking it up and we couldn't go. But the trip was pretty much all cities and high touristy areas. So in a way I'm glad we didn't go because I honestly deplore cities and walking around museums. But I hear Ireland is gorgeous and same with Scotland, Wales and Britain. certain areas of course.

I've got a couple of friends who live up there. I was going to visit them next summer. But I might not if I bounce and go somewhere else.
