I am looking for a value phone. I spend a lot of screen time on the phone. Most value phones are only 720p. After watching the above video I feel getting one with 1080p is worth it but I'm undecided.

What do you all think?

I've never rooted anything before. First time if I give it a go and it wouldn't be for a while anyway phone's not with me. I do have a Samsung S8 that's on its last legs although I don't want to blow it up because it's got a really decent camera and I wouldn't know how to get it back to that level of enjoyment.

I used to do it all the time back when I had an S3 and S4. It was pretty easy unless you were on Verzion as they locked the bootloader. Though I seem to remember there being some workarounds for that too.

The S4 used to be AT&t. I have an S8 now but I bought it unlocked and I also have a Motorola g power that's unlocked as well but the S8 and g power use Verizon SIM cards.
