or don't even shower

or don't even shower

I will agree that a shower is likely more sanitary of done properly, but a bath is much more relaxing...

Im posting this from the tub. Deal with it.

Baths are left over remainents of a by gone era when homes had no plumbing and especially no hot water. A tub was used to hold water that was heated up by fire and someone poured hot water into the tub.

Of course, today, homes have plumbing with hot water heaters. Now you turn a spigot on and get hot water from a shower.

In a bath you just stew in your own grime. But yeah, the ladies prefer the strong natural male scent you only develop with a light rinse every fortnite.

Baths are mostly a holdover from the time before modern plumbing when a shower was just plain not an option. Heated water pumped through pipes at pressure! What black magic is this????

A bath OTOH required nothing more than a large tub and a stove to heat water on. The weekly family bath was a thing and everyone used the same water. Is there any wonder why perfumes and fragrances were so popular with the upper classes? Though it has been shown that even the peasants toiling away in fields and living hand-to-mouth took better care of their hygiene than it is generally assumed.

Bath tubs are still commonly included when building a house because they still do offer some utility. But even if no one ever takes a bath the tub itself serves as an excellent base for a shower, and it is not that much larger than what just a shower stall would take up. And bath tubs are great when you have young children or to wash the dog or just for the occasional soak.

Showers are a better solution from almost all perspectives but that doesn't mean that having a bath tub around for when you need or want it is a terrible idea.

Epsom salt has entered the chat.

I'm literally writing this from an Epsom salt bath.

I had already showered. Plan is to let my lady take a couple hits off it if she wants.

If you live where water is expensive, or you're in an RV or on a limited well or something you can use a Bricor showerhead. I shower with 0.4 - 1.0 GPM (adjustable flow) and it's better than most 2.5 GPM showerheads from big box stores. A full, relaxing 20 minutes in the shower can be had using less than 10 gallons of water. That's not even enough to reach my ankle standing in the bathtub.

I bored out my showerhead. Now that sumbitch sprays like a firehouse. It can literally blast the dirt and grim of a day off you.

The bigger the hole the lower the force at any given pressure.

i work with a lot of chemicals and oils that soak into your skin. i work hard and I'm sure I would run circles around a lot of people in every fucking way. I don't give a fuck how gay anyone thinks a bath is. I soak in it, smoke my cigar with the rubber ducky and then when I feel like it, I scrub down and shower off.

A nice hot soak is very relaxing and therapeutic. I am fortunate enough to live near natural hot springs to soak in, which has long been also considered a spiritual experience by many. For keeping clean though, yes a shower seems more efficient and effective.

The hot springs here are amazing super relaxing. the nudity one has a ice dunk and that is amazing when going back and forth really loosens one up

Can't immerse yourself in your dingleberry water in a shower.
