Very true. I use the latex coated thick polyester for stone work and anything abrasive, medical type latex for auto work, kinco pig skin insulated for winter. The mechanix type fall apart at the seams after minimal use but some of them have knuckle and back of hand protection so they're good for demo work. You cant go wrong with leather it lasts the longest.
