I favor 8lb mini sledges and and a 12lb sledge. Rusty parts are frequent around the north.

Damn, you must have abs of steel. Or at least one hell of a back. I bought a 10 lb maul for my father's house to chop wood with. I can only imagine if I use that thing everyday for 6 months I'll either amazingly muscular my upper back would be or completely broken my spine would be. LOL

At first it was difficult. But using it every day conditioned my body. I volunteer as a firefighter so the training u do to stay in shape there compliments my field of work.
