Cook the bird thoroughly, and it would do you no harm. The virus would be destroyed in the cooking process. I doubt you would notice any difference in flavor.

The bird flu isn't a flu, any more than any other flu has been. It's a poison. That's why exposure to their feces(the main way bodies detox poisons) creates more sick birds or people.

Yes it's a real question. While the bird might not feel well, I doubt that bird flu would transfer to humans that eat it. It may or may not affect the taste of the meat. So, what's your answer?
