Ok hold up a sec... I really believe the dude thought that the shit was made to help people...I also can appreciate that at the time, he didn't have a lot of options..but at the end of the day, here's the BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIM AND CERTAINLY BIDEN: From day fucking one, he said he would never mandate the jab. He respected individual choice. That's a big fucking deal, and a big difference between him and virtually everyone else at that level of government. Making it available to the scairdy cats, though it was not really tested, is one thing. He gave them an option that they wanted. That is not the same as forcing it on those who didn't want it. So let's just be clear on that. And by the way, don't forget that he was pushing hard AF for already-existing treatments from day one.
He says a lot of truths and is inmensly popular, but did nothing close to draining the swamp, not even close Despite the swamp, he still got a lot of things done. Namely, killed NAFTA and actually built the fucking wall. FFS, we were actually energy independent! All of those are HUGE. I think he likely got played by people who he didn't think were swamp (IE Barr, Pence, etc.) But the good news is that all of those motherfuckers were forced to GLOW and out themselves. I would also ask, what should he have done differently? Do you think he knowingly appointed swamp fucks as bureaucracy heads?
This kind of comes down to a single question... is he swamp or is he not? If he's swamp, then it's all bullshit because he's one of them. If he's not swamp, then FFS I'm willing to believe he did the best he knew to do at the time. The lingering question I had about him from the time he began running to about a year or two into his term was "is he one of them?" But killing NAFTA and actually building the wall - to me - said that he 'aint one of them...because no fucking way would anyone in the swamp actually have killed NAFTA or built the wall.
At the end of the day, I think it's easy for people to armchair QB the presidency.. but imagine you get someone in there who actually does give a fuck and isn't sold out to he cabal... imagine it's you in the hotseat. There is no way it's as easy and simple as a lot of us imagine it to be. No fucking way. "I would round up the opposition and send them to GITMO." Oh, if only it were that simple. The presidency is a powerful position, but it is still beholden to the checks and balances of coequal branches. Namely, the SCOTUS. I liken it to a surgeon having to undertake a very complicated surgery to remove a cancer that is dug in to all sorts of vital organ systems. You have to be careful because if you kill the body in the process, then you lose everything. I just don't think it's as simple as we like to make it. It doesn't mean I'm for the cancer. I'm not. I'm just saying that I can appreciate the complication behind any plan to remove it while still retaining the life of the body at large. If you think that the entire swamp can get wiped out in a single 4 year term, then that just tells me that you either A) don't realize how large and dug-in it is or B) you think the president has powers that he simply doesn't have.
The entire government, in my estimation, operates on a combination of blackmail and favors. So, whoever is to clean it all up needs to have a shit ton of blackmail material on the swamp and be willing to fucking use it. It will take someone with a sort of righteous nastiness about them. I think he has that quality, though I don't know how much "goods" he has on the swamp critters in question. But until I see someone else who has that "righteous nastiness" about them, then he's the best choice, like it or not.
I'll vote for him unless there's a better choice who actually has a chance and beats him in the primaries. But I don't know who that would be. What I do know is that none of the fucking clowns who ran against him in the 2016 primaries were a better choice.
I want to believe you are correct and he is a good guy, he will probably win so, let's hope he is.
I really think he tried to do his best for the country. I just think it’s a very tough and complicated job for anyone who truly wants to fix shit for the better. Despite whatever authority he has, he’s still up against an entrenched swamp.. and that swamp isn’t just comprised of elected officials.. it’s 90% of people in all the bureaucracies, too. That’s basically one man VS a half million. Could I be wrong and he’s a sleeper? I guess. But like I said before, no way would a NWO shithead build a wall, kill NAFTA, take us energy independent, appoint a SCOTUS that overturned Roe…I could go on and on.
Did he make mistakes? Yep, he did. And he’s not beyond reproach. But until someone shows me a better option, he’s the best one we have in terms of getting shit done.
