The USFS intentionally destroys old infrastructure claiming it's for (((liability))). But in reality they want people to forget how populated and managed the woods used to be. They want everyone to forget what was done before so they can keep up the lie that the forests are in a natural, untouched state and should be kept that way.
This is correct. They burn now because logging has stopped. It's log it or burn it. No other option.
Indeed.
I dont understand, what do you mean managed and populated?
In the west, there used to be people settled all over in the woods rather than clustered in the cities. In lots of places, population outside the town has actually decreased in the last 100 years. And there is very little virgin ground out there. It has almost all been harvested or mined at least once. But that's not very helpful for people to remember when the agenda is to re-wild everything.
Do you mean they live in public land? How do you do that if you can’t build anything out there? Are they just living in tents?
