I have my own LLC and the LLC currently draws in quadruple or close to quadruple what my full time job does (250$/hr vs 60$/hr), question is, can the FT job or let them fire me?

Might be worth keeping for the health insurance.

This, price out the fringe benefits before you do anything rash.

As long as the full time job doesn't take away time from the LLC, keep the job. When the LLC makes more for the time committed to the job + benefits, resign. Don't give a reason when asked. Also, don't quit on the job and wait to get fired for sandbagging. It will follow you. Right now, the recession is accelerating so you might not have to wait to be laid off.

Also good redundancy, especially if in a different market then the LLC.

If you can gain more from your LLC from the hours opened up from leaving your job, then just leave. Time is everything, wasting time for $60 an hour when you can make quadruple that running and GROWING your own business, work for yourself instead of making others richer.

Usually better to get fired; you get unemployment benefits if that's of interest to you. But consider what benefits the job provides you (insurance wise) vs. the cost to self-insure.

Has the other company done you right? Are you white? You have your answer.

Take only what you need. Leave the rest.

They currently be laying off people, and they were ranked one of the most hated companies in the US for a few years. They have a habit of hiring only Indian and shitcanning everyone come the winter slump time. Their entire budget comes from something no one wants anymore and shoehorning it into peoples' orders

Dude why not work both and pull the extra income?

But ok, why are you expecting to be fired if you don’t quit?

If you get a severance, it may be worth it to get fired.

If you’re fed up and the job has done something to piss you off, then it may be worth it to tell them GFY if you can get away with it.

Generally though, I’d play the long game and think about $$ unless it’s just unbearable.

Let them fire you, they will likely give you severance

Generally speaking, it's usually better to make them fire you. This assumes you aren't gonna get fired for a "good cause " like stealing.

Sometimes you can get a buyout, severance, or E.I benefits for getting fired, or let go. But nothing if you quit
