$30 + tip. Mind you, this isnt for some cosmetologist to run a pair of electronic clippers over your skull with a guard on them and call it good enough after ten minutes of "work". That's for a man to get a haircut at a real barbershop where it's appointment only, you'll be there for an hour, you will be given shit by the other patrons, and there's a gun mounted over the door incase of dirty hippies or Feds.
I strongly recommend old fashioned barber shops to all men. The haircuts look MUCH better and they're one of the last bastions of masculine conversation where you can yeet your husband off to for an hour to discuss guns, girls, and your mom without someone getting their fee-fees hurt.
As boys our dad took us to the Sportsmen's barbershop. They had various mounted animals , even a black bear in a corner. Boys Life magazines for kids , Playboy on high shelf for gents.
All kinds of ammo including anti aircraft rounds for decoration. Definitely a different type of experience than a salon / clip joint.
$30 would be a bargain where I live. More like $60 plus tip here. It is worth it though for when you really want to look your best. An all scissor cut from a real pro blows the clipper chains out of the water in terms of looks. And if you're looking for a change and not sure of what exactly a good barber can tell you what will look best on you and be right.
The hot straight razor shave you can do yourself (and should learn how to if you don't) but is a bonus to year tosh to every now and again.
if I didn't get mind handled in-house I would go this route
