I went on a hike in Pennsylvania that I had to bike back from my finishing point. The hike was a total of 20 miles then I had to bike back 40. I was using a mountain bike with trail tires on pavement. It took an entire weekend 10 miles each day to hike and then about 3 hours to bike back. I was so tired at the last bit of the ride I pulled over on the side of the road and fell asleep where I was sitting. I eventually came too, got to the top of the hill got in my truck drove to a gas station. Got ice cream and fell asleep for 5 hours. Then I had to drive all the way back home which was in lower New England. That sucked.
