I had an instructor get mad at me and pull me aside to ask me to stop asking questions. Then later they offered me a job at their friends company because they "think I'm a genius".

My electronics instructor had been teaching since the 60s, he was close to retirement, it was a class full of guys and he said whatever the fuck he wanted. I miss those days.
