I'm pushing half a century soon and i'd like to do some more international travel. i used to rent a car and sleep in the back when i traveled previously, but that can make for some uncomfortable evenings. so for the bucks and does on here who don't want to spend $300 a night on a fine star hotel, let alone even 100, how do hostels work for middle-aged people? is it even a thing?

I've heard about it, I've never done it because I always heard that they drug you and rape you. They don't care if you're a guy or a girl either.

I probably wouldn't use that term, "hard minute", with him, but I agree with your point. Yes , you're right whoever it is could be a rapey degenerate for all we know.
