Highlander, Sequoia, Land Cruiser ... Go Toyota or Lexus. You have a choice of 4.7L or 5.7L V8 or 4.0L V6 depending upon year.
Honda Pilot isn't bad, can seat up to 8. The Honda 3.5L V6 is very reliable.
Old Chevy/GM Suburbans, particularly the 3/4 ton variety are very durable. Anything after about 2009 with the weak auto trans might cause issues later.
