Drive-in movies were one of the highlights of any weekend when I was a teen. Didn't really matter what movie was playing, as watching it was the last thing on the list of things to do while there. Hanging that speaker on the window was an afterthought rather than requirement.

I worked as a protectionist in the mid 80s, including at 3 drive-ins. Best I ever saw was 20 people in a Buick. Back seat and trunk were Stuffed!
