I've always thought owning/running/cooking a restaurant would be something I'd enjoy. Whenever I've looked into it though, the risk always outweighed the reward. It's a tough industry to succeed in, but that's not telling you anything new.
It's a hard work. But I love it. My restaurant with my cousin was successful. The problem was my cousin drinking and snorting all the benefits.
I offered to buy his shares but he didn't wanted his little cousin to take over the restaurant alone. So I sold my shares to him. He crashed the restaurant in 6/9 months. I don't remember precisely.
I had other businesses after that. It was in the early 2000's. All successful except for another partnership with a trio of business colleagues.
I learned to be very wary of business partnerships.
