Could the holy spirit have been the use of psychedelics or dmt of sorts like an ayahuasca potion? could that have been what the men of jesus used to go forth and change the world. someone in my other post said they took it to break patterns, to move forward. could it have help them with their mission? these are kind of shower thoughts while i'm sitting in the desert.

Of course they used these things. Nature jas a plethora of items you can use for reaching heightened states of consciousness.. but i believe that what you see is real. And God is real, and truly awesome. We just dont have the faculties to express it, nor, i believe fully comprehend it.

I know there's always been drugs out there that'll help you blast off and I know they've been out there forever. But I guess my thought was according to the gospel they were all locked in the room afraid, unable to do anything, paralyzed of sorts. Jesus came and then talked to them, endowing them with the Holy Spirit. So maybe this was symbolism and they decided to go on a psychedelic trip where they had a vision of Jesus and then through that were endowed with courage to go out and spread his word. The voodoo slinger that I had spent those couple of days with said you can have group experiences while under the influence of DMT. So I was wondering maybe this was the case for them. Post Script: Wouldn't you guys eat amanita, rip off all your clothes and go into battle with just a bear toga on killing both friend and foe?
