I agree with the general sentiment, especially in the late 50s-60s-70s where that designed cultural revolution was really taking off. But look at how much more effective and brainwashy early age vaccinations and prescribed methamphetamines? Authoritarianism is what got us into this mess. Wrongful detention, drug trafficking, crime upticks in every community. Law & policing corruption, high politicians running tax money into other countries, latest Ukraine, let alone Israel. The "rules" and "laws" are not dictated by communities anymore, that's why there's vaccine mandates and schedule 1 federal standards.
