When tube tv's were the only option available, i could not eat anything crunchy while watching it because the picture would collapse to a single line across the middle of the screen horizontally. this problem disappeared when viewing non tube units like lcd or led. also would not happen on computer monitors. vibration of my scull while chewing?

Next experiment: multiple TVs with multiple viewers, each of them crunches one at a time. What happens?
