Me: playing bass for Deep Purple in the late 60s/early 70s. Roger Glover did a good job, but I could have done better.

-Malcolm Young of ACDC. I kinda had his job in a tribute band, years ago. Cranking out 3-chord progressions through blazing Marshall amps for 2 hours was a lotta fun.

It was a German minimalist band called 'Trio', early 80s. They were indescribably horrible, and admitted it. Their big hit was 'Da Da Da'. The drums were from a computer, and the drummer liked to sit behind the drums, eating and reading the newspaper while the beat played. I'm not sure if he even could play drums. They were quite popular, and made lots of money.
