Me: playing bass for Deep Purple in the late 60s/early 70s. Roger Glover did a good job, but I could have done better.

-Malcolm Young of ACDC. I kinda had his job in a tribute band, years ago. Cranking out 3-chord progressions through blazing Marshall amps for 2 hours was a lotta fun.

Malcolm Young was the greatest guitarist in history.

I'd sub for Jim Morrison.

Um...while a huge Malcolm fan, he was not (imo) the greatest, that would be Al DiMeola or John McLaughlin or Andres Segovia.

--But Angus admitted several times Mal was better than him. I have seen soundcheck footage of Mal ripping leads. He simply couldn't be bothered to do it live, mostly cause he was too drunk for most of his career (by his own admission). RIP M.Y.
