Their services are just terrible now, I ended up moving to a new bank that offered better services. I noticed, USAA has been slowly selling off all their departments to other companies, and their core mil services are just trash now. I can get a free account anywhere else, so what does USAA offer me that someone else cant?

USA died around 1913, following the creation of the Federal Reserve and the signing of the Federal Reserve Act (thanks ), the third and final attempt of the central bankers to take control of the USA.

Edit: I should clarify by adding that due to the Federal Reserve all banking institutions degrade over time due to wealth siphoniing by FED via interest-backed currency. This includes USAA.

OP is talking about USAA, the financial/insurance provider that deals with federal people and servicemembers.

They used to be a pretty awesome company to work with, reasonable rates for everything.

I realize this.

That too. I think USAA is also suffering from wokeness.

lol, not even close (as far as insurance). Maybe they're less cunts during the claim process, maybe... but I've never had a claim for home/auto. Pricing is the highest, always, and the customer service is bottom of the barrel.

We tried some of the other services (investments) and regretted that decision. Good at the up-front sales, terrible on the follow-through.

USAA is Maybe a bit better with false credit card charges. Doesn't happen frequently, but when it does they make it right without question. The same can't be said for a number of other banks. I don't keep any money with USAA though, at least beyond the week or so when I transfer in stuff for auto-pay bills. They are good with auto-pay, to the point of even paying penalties when they fuck up (and they have a time or two in the past 23 years).

OP, USAA wasn't terrible about 2 decades ago. They've gotten worse since... but so have all other bank options I have any experience with.

Came.here to say this because 2004 was when it went drastically downhill.

I only use them now for cheap(er) insurance & family discounts for things but would never use their banking services.

My mother & father in law worked there till retirement & I know quite a few details of their inner workings. My MIL worked in claims department, not on salary, for 30+ years, & retired at $54 an hour in a non supervisor position. As a business model, only makes sense that they dole out their menial customer service tasks to pajeets/non English speakers willing to work for pennies on the dollar.

I guess all customer service has took a downturn, because vast majority does not take pride in work ethic when rewards for it are insubstantial.

See my comment about the creation of the FED. Why do you think all bank services degrade over time? It's due to the fact that the central bank is constantly siphoning the wealth of the country via interest-backed currency. End result is: costs rise, quality drops, wealth consolidates.

Talk to me when there's an alternative... till then, I'll go with "wisdom to know the difference" (Serenity prayer)

I'm pretty sure you misread the OP and added the edit to pretend like you were addressing the OP anyway. You can just admit it. It's fine. People here will probably call you a stupid nigger but it's an honest mistake.

I would admit it if I'd made that mistake.

I was simply lazy when I made the first comment and assumed people would be able to work out the logical conclusion. After several people commented thinking I misread USAA as USA, I added the dit.

You can call me a stupid nigger anyways.

USAA =/= USA

Almost every telephone agent is a nigger. They exclusively act as roadblocks. It seems to be in their DNA. They rarely, if ever, understand even middling concepts. If you're blessed and reach a White agent, it's an entirely different experience.

[–] 0 pt

Ah yes , remember when you could call information for a number? No bullshit and I used to freak people out with this. I would tell a friend to call information for a number they already knew. If the got a nigger they would never get the right number. Only from the white people did they get the right number . Everytime

Usaa still offers the best car insurance and “overdraft protection” no?

[–] 1 pt

No, I dropped them a few years ago.

They started charging me more than market price for car insurance, and started charging me sneaky fees.

One of the fees was an error on their end that they were only partially willing to refund.

I completely second your aggravation with USAA. I had such a shitty time with them over the summer trying to get them to pay me out on a claim that I made against my camper. Long story short I crashed broke something under the hood and they faught me tooth and nail because it didn't have structural damage. The part fried because it became unbalanced in the inside. I was international and they don't have an arm where I was but they do cover. so they said you have to fend for yourself and good luck. so I did and where I was was really remote and it cost me money to get parts shipped up to where I was. USAA decided to not pay the full amount of the price of the part because they could get it from a wholesaler for hundreds of dollars cheaper. So they were going off of that price and telling me tough luck I shouldn't have crashed where I did. my thought at that point was well then why the heck are you offering insurance internationally if you're not going to cover anything. It would have been better for them to say no we don't cover you, go find your own plan. I got into these gigantically long email battles with them explaining the cost of being remote in a foreign country and how they owe it to me because I'm paying them a premium and the agreement is they pay when something happens, regardless of what you think the price should be. this is the price they're charging and if I don't like it well then I don't have to get it repaired but then I'll be stuck and then what's the point of having insurance. So we did a lot of back and forth it took them two months to finally pay me the full amount and that was when I made a complaint to them on social media. So yeah a long story short again is fuck USAA, but if I went to another insurance company I probably paid twice what I'm paying now just because the way things are. So I'm stuck but I don't do anything else with these guys. I don't bank with them anymore per se but I use their credit card. The 'people' who answer the phones are fucking niggers or Spanish or some white trash piece of shit named Thema. I think the reason it's sucking so bad is because they stopped having a military CEO now they just have a lay person.

A nigger is in charge I think

[–] 2 pts

That would explain why niggers answer 100% of the time when you have a technical issue, now. You can tell even when they're trying to "talk white." Didn't used to be that way.

Ever try to explain a technical computer issue to a nigger? It's fun.

There's been this bug in USAA's BillPay forever because I cannot make the niggers understand. The bug is simple: USAA's BillPay has a feature called 'E-bills.' E-bills are where you can sign up to have electronic PDF copies of your statements from participating vendors available right in USAA's BillPay. The bug is that you can only sign up for one E-bill per vendor. If you have homeowner's insurance and auto insurance from the same company, for example, you cannot get an E-bill for both accounts. USAA will throw an error when you try to set it up that says "You already have set up E-bill for this vendor." The worst part is that every time you log in to BillPay you will get nagged that E-bill is available for this bill and "click here to set it up."

Every single time (5 different times over the last 2 years) I have tried to explain this to the niggers in "technical support," they don't even understand what E-Bill is. The repeatedly think I'm talking about BillPay. They assure me that BillPay is working fine and that you can set up as many BillPay accounts as you wish. I've tried every way I can think of to explain it to them and they just can't get it. I even tried the snarky route and started the last call with, "do you know the difference between BillPay and E-bill." Of course no nigger will ever admit ignorance about anything ever, so they assure me they know the difference. As soon as I start explaining it becomes clear that they have no fucking idea what I'm talking about.

I have no experience with them but everyone who mentioned them tells a horror story.

This is just for me, but 2014 was the year when I first took a step back and said

Huh. Literally everything is getting more retarded all at once.

When the North went to war to keep people in the union, that wanted to get out.

I was speaking to someone the other day on a different platform about USAA's service as he also had complaints.

But I have been using them for more than a decade and I have literally zero issues -- no customer service issues, cheaper insurance than other places, the app works well and has better than average security for a banking app...

When I call, it's usually an American and it sounds like a White person most of the time.

I'm super confused as to how so many people are having all of these issues with USAA. I just haven't experienced it, and I have a lot of accounts and products with them.
