There's no point in asking such a question to the Poal crowd. Everyone here has a "plan" and are quite sure that they got everything 100% correct in their choices. Everyone is absolutely certain that they will be the rare survivors of the coming future. None of us have actually lived in a real SHTF moment, but somehow we're all convinced that we have all the answers we need. Sadly we're all wrong and it's going to be a shock when we individually realize our plans are full of hubris and extraordinary failure.

No matter what happens, we're not going to be the winners if we let it get all the way past the point of no return. We're nearly there and we're just LARPing as preppers and survivalists. We're gonna die from that.

We're nearly there

We are past it. All the preppers and survivalists are running around talking about weapons, ammo, precious metals, and food. Which is fine, we'll all need those things the first few months after SHTF...it's now 7-9 months later, your food supply is nearly out and things aren't going back to normal and you are waiting on food to grow or you are fishing and hunting. Since no one talks about tanning, butchering, purifying water or anything useful like those two specific skills, people will be dying from parasites, malnutrition and dysentery.

There's loads of skills that will be needed around a year after a SHTF event upends everything and sends us back to the 1700s or even earlier.
