If you are looking to make a little money with a side job think about buying a tractor with a front end loader and some attachments, bush hog, tiller, discs. You can go around your area tilling gardens for folks. The front end loader can be used for a ton of work! It may take a while to pay for itself but in the meantime you will be the hero of the community helping your neighbors around their place doing the things they can't do by hand! Just make sure you talk to them about specifics. My tractor was down once and a good neighbor came over to mow my small field, it was growing up into a briar patch! I was at work and my wife and neighbor wanted to surprise me. They sure did too! He mowed down my blueberry plants that I had growing in part of the field! I had planned on making that field into a food provider. Berries, an orchard, and a half acre of cultivated ginseng under cover. The blueberries were the beginning of my plans. It set me back quiet a bit. And I never did get around to making that ginseng patch!
