Sometimes all i want to do is help my local people with odd jobs and random shit. like a specialized handyman. i love collecting high quality tools for general purposes, even if i don't necessarily need them or use them often. what kind of specialized tools or machinery do you have or would consider buying as a way of making money on the side?

Not quite what you're asking, but "buy it for life items" - speed queen commercial washers and driers, german garden tools, japanese cameras, American leather boots with goodyear welts, made in the USA hand tools

Speed Queens are the best home purchase I have made. When purchased, dealer said "these are items that will be passed down to your grandchildren and still work good as new." Have had for 6 years and no problems at all.

I have had 2 other new sets, Maytag & Kenmore and both sets were torn apart to weld legs on and make firepits because they broke down. https://pic8.co/sh/e0XC38.jpg
