At that scale of nuclear destruction, I would just end it.
Yeah I kind of think that way too. I mean unless you're super wealthy and have a whole long living ecosystem to survive in. That made me think of one of my favorite books "Alas Babylon", written in 1959 about a nuclear blast and surviving afterward.
Even if I had a bunker that could hold fresh water, food, power etc, the world would never recover from that level of destruction. Another poster here said the megatons aimed at the UK was way higher than predicted in the film. It would not be worth it to survive through that.
I watched Threads again last night. Really eye opening stuff especially now. I think people have some idea that a "limited nuclear strike" is completely survivable.
Nah, I don't think so. Not for the average person.
